Maca Avocado Ice Cream with Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

Happy Summer!


I’m currently so obsessed with my ice cream maker that just about every smoothie gets churned into cool, creamy magic.


In case you and maca have yet you cross paths, this root-y powder is considered a “superfood”.




I’ve taken approximately one-bazillion superfoods and noticed little difference.


Give me a freshly pressed green juice over a powdered-anything any day!


So why the maca?

I freaking love the stuff.


That’s it.


It’s delicious.


“They” say it’s hormone-balancing and libido-boosting and while my hormones and libido are already quite happy, I couldn’t resist a bag of this stuff on sale today.


So whether it’s for feeling happier and frisker or because you just like the flavor of roasted toffee – this vegan ice cream is a major win.





12 oz coconut milk

1 ripe avocado

1 Tbsp maca powder

1 drop doTERRA Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

stevia, to taste (I used about 25 drops – this is my current favorite)


Blend all ingredients in a blender and process according to directions in your ice cream maker.
